: Air con was broken, they had to put me in another hotel in a smelly alley. Way too expensive for what it is... I spend 250$ for a room that in Asia would have litteraly cost 10...

: good location in Chinatown close to everything. That's it. There is older lady living in the basement who goes out to smoke, and she is pretty funny.
: the pictures on the site may not look great, but the place is truly disgusting. the owners have scribbled all over the building with sharpie markers, the halls are 23" wide, the walls are dirty. the rooms are ridiculous smal. when you unlock the room door, the toilet and shower stall are right there in the entry, exposed. there is a sloped wall, with a door that has been sawn and "fixed" with tape. there is one electrical outlet in the room. none in the bath. there is a big contractors extension cord running across the room floor to power the window AC. the AC is wedged into the window using soiled linens, and the fter was filthy. the water does not get hot. there is no sink in the room.there is no tv, and the fridge does not work.the bath vent fan wiring is filthy and exposed, with a soggy bit of duct tape holding one side up. the "closet" is a bar running across the low ceiling.the owner price gouged people $1000 per night during covid lockdown for that same garbage 100 sq foot room, and brags about it. we paid an absurd $814 for three nights. The NYC owner hates the property, and plans to dump it and retire (he stated this), and is just the worst. He also threatened to contact my professor and to sue me if I leave a bad review I'm almost 50, I don't have a prof these days, and I gave him my attorney's contact info, because y'all need to know about this hellhole. lolthere is an angry older lady who comes to clean the halls and empty rooms. She tried to demand that I let her photograph my passport. weird. The fire alarm went off for unknown reasons, making us have to go Also, don't park in front of the building at night, even if the owner tells you to. you will get a $30 ticket. For an alternate small room, look to the Rex downtown. it's cleaner, the rooms are complete, and the staff is pleasant.
